Getting your device and headset ready for use with Aircall will ensure the best call quality and experience. Let's take a look at the requirements below.
Google Chrome (the most recent version)
64-bit version of Windows 10 or macOS 10.14+
Minimum 4Gb of RAM
Intel i5 dual-core processor or equivalent
🚫 Aircall is not supported on Linux nor on Chromebooks. You will need to use the web application in these instances.
iOS 13.0 or later, or Android 7.0 or later
Pro-tip: please verify with your internal IT department that if in your organization you use security or firewall programs on your device, that you have allowed Aircall full access. If you have one of these programs enabled and Aircall is not approved, it could interfere with your ability to make and receive calls.
When using a VoIP service, it's important to make sure that you are using a professional stereo headset. Especially with Aircall, as this provides the best and most stable call quality.
Aircall recommends using the Jabra Evolve 40 UC Stereo headset, which is available with USB and mini-jack adapters so it's suited for both Mac and Windows computers.
On Windows (Microsoft), we recommend using a USB wired headset.
On macOS (Apple), we recommend using a mini-jack wired headset.
Please note that the use of mono or Bluetooth headsets, earphones, and other wireless headsets are not recommended as they are not compatible with Aircall and you may experience quality-related issues.
⚠️ Please additionally note that Corsair brand headsets are not supported for use with Aircall.
If you should experience issues like one-way audio, please double-check that your in-app settings have been configured correctly and that the security and privacy of your headset have been approved in your device.
