Why is this necessary?

Due to regulatory verification requirements, it is important to understand that depending on specific country regulations, it is no longer possible to purchase and use numbers in certain countries without providing proof of your identification/address.

As a provider, Aircall must abide by these laws of the respective country and collect the documents and information required by the official regulating telecommunications authorities of the country before validating your number for use.

It’s our mission to make this process as smooth as possible, and our porting team is here to help.

Who has access to the data I submit?

At Aircall, data privacy is of the utmost importance to us. All information is securely collected, and your data is encrypted and protected to keep it safe.

I have submitted the information, what’s next?

Once your information has been submitted, it can take up to 48 to 72 business hours to verify and validate it. Our carrier will review the submitted information to ensure that it is compliant with the local laws and regulations of the country associated with the phone number.

⚠️ Please note: Until your information is verified and validated, your number will be inactive and not compliant.

Number validation is a one-time process. Your submitted information is securely stored and will be reused if you create another number in the same geographic location. However, you may have to submit additional documentation when creating a number in a new location.

Once your information is validated, you will receive an update regarding the confirmation, letting you know that your numbers have been verified.
