This article is for Aircall’s old Dashboard which most Admins have been migrated away from. For information on Aircall’s new Dashboard, please click here.

You can easily add new numbers when needed if you are an Aircall Admin user. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Login to your Aircall Dashboard.

  • Click on Numbers located in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

  • Select Create Number located in the upper left-hand corner of the number overview page.

Next, you’ll be prompted to answer several questions about the type of number you’d like to add to your Aircall account.

You can choose to add either a Classic Number or an IVR Number:

After choosing the geographic location, you'll need to choose if you would like to have a local number or a toll-free number.

Then, select the area code you would like and name your number.

You can decide now or later on to assign a team or a user to the number. Please take note that if you do not assign a user or a team, they will not appear in the call distribution of the number and they will be able to make and receive calls and view all activity associated with the number from their Phone Application.

Select Create Number.

Your number has now been created and you can continue with setting up your number (assigning more users or teams to the call distribution, setting up music & messages, etc..) Make sure not to forget this step!

If you made an error while creating a number, you can easily click on the grey X in the upper-right hand corner to restart the process:

Ta-da 🎉 You’ve created your new number. Now, you need to set your number up so your team can receive and make calls.
