Some days might be busier than others and there may be times when you’re unable to take a call. Whether you're jumping in a meeting or just taking a break, you have the option to change your status in the phone application.

Changing your availability from the phone is simple.

  • Click on your user profile located in the lower left-hand corner of the screen to open your settings.
  • Toggle between the choices; Available, Auto, and Do not Disturb.

When you are Available, you will be able to receive calls and your Phone will look like this:

When you are in Do not Disturb, you will not be able to receive any calls (you can still make outbound calls) and your phone will look like this.

If you do not want to toggle between Available and Do not disturb throughout the day manually, you can set yourself into the Auto setting. The Auto setting allows you to pre-set your working hours and your phone will move from Available to Do not disturb automatically.

Please keep in mind that if you have set up a Wrap-up Time on your user profile, you will be shown as in After-call work from the Activity Feed. This means that you will not be available to take calls until the Wrap-up time has been completed or you push yourself back to Available sooner.

Changing the Status from the Dashboard

If you're an Aircall administrator you can change the Availability status for yourself or another user from the Dashboard.

  • Log into your Aircall Dashboard.
  • Click on the Team section located in the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Select a User.
  • Refer to the section called Working Hours.

Sleep Mode or Idle Computer

When your computer goes to sleep or into idle mode, your Availability status will automatically switch to Offline Mode. This may take up to 2-3 minutes to change or be reflected in the Live Feed.
