The Aircall-Dynamics integration has a lot to offer by streamlining workflows and getting rid of manual data entry after a phone call. Thankfully, getting set up only takes a few minutes!

Before you start, make sure that you have Admin rights in both Aircall and Dynamics, and that you are using the same email address for both accounts.

  • Log in to the Aircall Dashboard

  • Select Integrations & API on the left sidebar menu

  • Click on Discover Integration, then select Microsoft Dynamics

  • Click on Install integration

Now you will be guided through a few easy steps outlined below.

Step 1: Authenticate Aircall

  • Click on New Authentication. This will open a screen for you to add a required Authentication name. You will see a default name already provided for you. While a name is required, it will not be visible anywhere so any name can be used here -- either the suggested default or a name that you choose yourself.

  • Click. on Create and a pop-up will appear.

  • From the pop-up, click on Authorize to allow this integration to access information about your calls in Aircall.

  • If the integration is successful, you will see a message that says “Aircall connected.” Once you see this, click on Next.

Step 2: Connect an Aircall number

  • Select an Aircall number from the drop down to connect to Microsoft Dynamics. (Please keep in mind that if you do not select a number it will not be linked.)

Step 3: Authenticate Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Click on New Authentication. This will open a screen for you to add a required Authentication name. You will see a default name already provided for you. While a name is required, it will not be visible anywhere so any name can be used here -- either the suggested default or a name that you choose.

  • Enter in the URL for your Microsoft Dynamics 365 account.

⚠️ Please make sure to enter your full URL, and that it begins with HTTPS:// otherwise authentication will not work.

  • If the integration is successful, you will see a message that says “Microsoft Dynamics connected.”

⚠️ When reinstalling or adding a second integration, you must add a NEW authentication name each time, as existing Authentication name options will not work properly.

Step 4: Choose the desired outcome if the caller’s number does not exist

If a phone number does not exist in Microsoft Dynamics 365, you have the option to create a new “Contact” or "Lead".

⚠️ If you choose the "Nothing" option, no new contact will be created. If no option is deliberately selected in the drop-down, the integration will default to creating a new "Contact", as it is the default selection.

  • Once a selection has been made, click on Finish.

🎉 Great, your integration is active! You are all set and ready to get the most out of your integration.
