In order to create Call Workflows in Salesforce Lightning or Salesforce Classic, log on to your Salesforce account and follow the quick and easy steps below.

Create Workflow Rules in the Aircall Salesforce Lightning integration:

  • Click on Setup on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen

  • In the Platform Tools section of the left sidebar menu, click on Process Automation and select Workflow Rules

  • Click on New Rule and select the object on which the workflow should trigger (e.g. Task for an Aircall logged call) then click Next)

  • Name the rule (e.g Assignment workflow). In Evaluation criteria select “created, and any time it's edited to subsequently meet criteria” and in Rule Criteria select “criteria are met” and click on Save & Next.

  • Add the fields and conditions necessary so your rule only gets triggered when needed (e.g. Task: Subject starts with “Missed call”)
  • In Immediate Workflow Actions add the wanted action (e.g. “New Field Update”)

  • Name the action (e.g. Assignment action) and fill in the mandatory fields (e.g. Field to Update: “Assigned to”, Assigned to: “User”)

  • Click on Done and then on Activate.

Create Workflow Rules in the Aircall Salesforce Classic integration:

  • Click on Setup

  • In the Build section of the left sidebar menu, unfold the Create section and unfold the Workflow & Approvals section. Then, click on Workflow Rules and select New Rule

  • Select the object on which the workflow should trigger (e.g. Task for an Aircall logged call)
