If you would like to use a certain number on your Aircall account to make outbound calls on, but do not wish to be a part of the inbound call distribution, you can enable the ‘Outgoing calling only’ feature on any particular number. This feature allows you to not only choose the number to use for outbound calls, but it also allows you to see all activity associated with the number in the desktop, mobile, and web applications.

In order to set this up on your number, you can follow these quick steps:

  • Log onto the Dashboard and select the number you would like to enable from the navigation menu on the left-hand side.

  • Click on Teams & Users in the top right corner of the page.

If you do not wish to ever receive inbound calls to this phone number, you will need to close the line. You can do so by clicking on Business Hours, then Always Closed. Be sure to turn off voicemail options for the After Hours & Unanswered Call Messages if you do not plan on treating them.

It is as simple as that! You will now find the number available to use in your application keypad to start your outbound calls.
