“Short Numbers” or numbers that have short digit sequences (4-6 digits) and are significantly shorter than telephone numbers are not available for most customers within Aircall due to limitations. Examples include dialing the La Poste in France 3631 or any marketing or promotional number.
Exceptions for French Clients
Aircall has found a solution to dialing some short numbers for French clients. The available numbers are as follows:
Pôle emploi Employeur
Pôle emploi salarié
Users will be unable to dial the short numbers directly, however they can be connected to the short number by calling the associated long number instead. For example, to reach out to CPAM employeur, simply dial +33184903679 to be connected.
Only the numbers listed above are able to be called, and calling any other short numbers will be unavailable from Aircall.
