Automatically setting up your daily working hours allows you to be able to open up your Aircall application and start your day in a flash. If you are an Aircall admin, you can easily define your own working hours or another user's working hours for which you will only receive calls.

How are working hours categorized?

  • Available: users will receive calls at all times

  • Auto: users can choose their working hours for each day of the week that they will be available to take calls

  • Unavailable: users will not receive any calls at any time

Setting the Availability through the Dashboard

  • Log in to the Dashboard.

  • Click on Users in the left-hand navigation menu.

  • Find and select the user you want to set up Availability for.

On the User settings page:

  • Select the Availability settings tab.

  • Choose your Timezone and set the Availability as Auto.

  • Next, define the working hours that you prefer from the Time slots.

  • Click Save changes.

There is also a quicker way for Admins to change the availability of a User directly from the Users section:

  • Log in to the Dashboard.

  • Click on Users in the left-hand navigation menu.

  • Find the user you want to set up Availability for.

  • Click on the arrow located on the User card below the user's name

  • Choose an availability option

If you need to change the scheduled working hours, you can click on the Change link in Auto and you will be redirected to the Availability settings tab.

⚠️ Please note: When using the phone app, Users can manually make themselves Unavailable during their working hours and choose an unavailable sub-status. Admins can not change or select the unavailable sub-status from the Dashboard.

Setting your working hours on your Desktop or Web Application

  • Log in to your Desktop or Web Application.

  • Go to your User Icon located in the lower right-hand corner of the app and click on Preferences.

  • Click on Working Hours, select your timezone, and define your working hours by clicking on the time slots that you'd like to activate.

⚠️ Please note that when you set working hours in your profile, they will apply to all Aircall lines that you are assigned to when receiving calls.
