If you would like to use a certain number on your Aircall account to make outbound calls on, but do not wish to be a part of the inbound call distribution, you can enable the ‘Outgoing calling only’ feature on any particular number. This feature allows you to not only choose the number to use for outbound calls, but also allows you to see all activity associated with the number in the desktop, mobile, and web applications.
How to set up outgoing calls only on an Aircall number:
Log in to the Dashboard.
Select the Number you would like to enable 'outgoing calling only' for. You can also search for the number in the search bar on the right side of the screen.
On the Number's page, click on Teams & Users tab.
Under Teams & Users, you will find the outgoing calls only section.
Click on Add user.
Search for the users you would like to add to outgoing calling only.
Click on Add.
The user added to 'outgoing calls only' will find the number available to use in their application keypad to start their outbound calls. However, they will not receive any inbound calls to this phone number.
