💡 Aircall will soon be releasing a new and improved version of our Intercom integration. For existing Intercom users, a prompt will be provided in the Aircall Admin Dashboard to allow you to update to the newest version once it is rolled out to you.
How to Migrate
Once the updated integration has rolled out to your company, a banner will be displayed at the top of your Admin Dashboard:
Click on Go to My Integrations to be directed to your Integrations & API page where you will see a note about the update:
Click on your Intercom integration to be directed to your settings pages where you can install the update:
Click Install update and follow the instructions to update:
You will then be prompted to configure your Intercom integration with new settings related to call workflows, conversation creation, user and lead creation, and more. Learn more about these new settings in our article Recent Updates to the Intercom Integration.
💡 Your connected numbers will be migrated automatically from Intercom V1 to Intercom V2, but you will have to manually configure your new settings in Intercom V2.
Sunsetting Intercom V1
In July 2022, all customers who are still using Intercom V1 will be prompted to update to Intercom V2 in the Dashboard:
From this pop up, click on Go to My integrations to be able to update your integration. You can then follow the installation steps outlined above.
On July 25th, 2022, the previous version of the Intercom integration will be sunsetted. To ensure continued access to your Intercom integration, you must update your integration by July 25th, 2022.
