To get the most out of Aircall, we recommend to use a professional stereo headset, on your computer or mobile.
We don't recommend to use mono headsets, earphones, Bluetooth earphones and other wireless headsets because they are more likely to lose connection and cause call quality issues.
- On macOS (Apple), we recommend a mini-jack wired headset. The mini-jack headset will be automatically detected whenever you plug it in.
- On Windows (Microsoft), we recommend using a USB, wired headset. On Windows, you have to plug the headset before launching Chrome to make sure it will be properly recognized.
In terms of models, we recommend the Jabra Evolve 40 UC Stereo. This headset comes with both USB and mini-jack adapters so it's suited for both macOS and Windows.
If at any point, you realize that the system has lost connection with the headset, the best solution is to check that:
- The headset is properly recognized on your computer configuration panel
- The headset is selected as the default communications device on your computer
We also recommend you follow the instructions here to set up your headset.
