There may come a time when your team starts to grow and you'll need to add more numbers to your Aircall account. You can easily add new numbers if you are an Aircall Admin user.
Let’s follow the steps below:
- Login to your Aircall Dashboard
- Click on Numbers located in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen
- Select Create Number located in the upper left-hand corner of the number overview page
Next, you’ll be prompted to answer several questions about the type of number you’d like to add to your Aircall account.
You can choose to add either a Classic Number or an IVR Number:
Then, for a classic number, you’ll need to choose the team or user that will be assigned to this number (in order to make and receive calls). You’ll choose the location and the name of the number. Then click Create Number.
Once you’ve completed this step, your number will be created and you can continue with setting up your number (assigning more users or teams to the call distribution, setting up music & messages, etc..) Make sure not to forget this step!
While creating a new number, you may receive the following message, Due to local regulations, numbers in this country can only be created with the assistance of our support team. Please click here to request a new number.
This message indicates that some numbers must be associated with validated addresses and identifications before they can be activated with our carrier. You can easily submit the information needed by going here.
Made a mistake while making a number? Not to worry! Just click on the grey X in the upper-right hand corner to restart the process:
