Navigating the Aircall Phone app is easy.
When you first log in to the Aircall app, your default screen is the dial pad where you can make outbound calls.
Below the number keys, you can toggle between your different numbers to choose which one you want to call from.
In call view
When making a call, you’ll notice a menu of options:
Transfer your calls directly to another teammate. Scroll through your contacts or use the search bar to locate the right person.
If you need to have a keyboard accessible in case you need to dial a number with an IVR or are looking to join a conference with a pin code.
Conveniently balance call recording and personal privacy. Start recording calls at any point with the ability to pause and resume so you can keep your callers’ sensitive information secure by temporarily pausing call recording as needed.
Consult and manage your availability.
When you tap into Settings, you’ll see three options on the availability toggle:
- Available: Ready to receive calls.
- Auto: Receive calls only during scheduled hours
- Do not disturb: Do not receive any calls at this time
Click here to view your credentials like your name, company, email address and password. You can also view your existing numbers, extensions, or add a phone number so you can use Aircall’s call forwarding feature.
View your Timezone and the hours and days that you’ll be available. You can adjust these at any point.
Navigate here to report on an issue or chat with support. You can also find access to our knowledge base here as well.
View your call history on any number. See both outbound and inbound calls as well as voicemails.
Prioritize your call log by action item. See voicemails, missed calls and calls assigned to you by a teammate. You can also see if the call includes a tag or note. Just click into the call card to view call details.
Call Details view
When you look at a call in History or To-Do, you can tap into the call to see a host of actions to help organize and take action on your calls.
See what type of call was made, such as Outgoing call or Missed call, as well as what line the call was made to or dialed from.
View the caller’s name and company if they are a saved contact, or view and add the unregistered number.
Review call recordings to understand the full story with clear, complete audio recordings. You’ll see a player to listen to your recordings and the ability to share it with on-demand playback. Access and listen to call recordings whenever you need them, whether it's preparing for upcoming calls or confirming key details.
Assign a call to one of your teammates or to a specific team in order for them to get back to the caller. You can assign a detailed follow-up task to the most qualified team member.
You can tag a call in order to add custom labels which let you decide the smartest way to organize your calls. Tagged calls to give your team the context they need for smart decisions and smooth follow ups.
Keep helpful info attached to calls with comments in order to better qualify calls and provide context as they travel across your team. Aircall automatically syncs the notes and comments you make during calls to your CRM or Helpdesk — keeping that info accessible to the whole team.

Copy Call ID
If you scroll below “call back”, you’ll notice the option to copy call ID. This is helpful for locating specific information about your call data if you need to review call recordings or troubleshoot an issue and send to Aircall Support.
